Model identification guide
How to find your coffee maker model number.
The model number—not the product name, color, or cup capacity—is the safest starting point for replacement-part fitment.
1. Unplug and cool the appliance
Disconnect power and allow the coffee maker to cool before moving or tilting it. Empty removable water reservoirs and carafes first.
2. Check the rating label
The label is commonly located:
- On the underside of the base.
- On the back panel near the power cord.
- Behind or beneath a removable water reservoir.
- On a manufacturer label inside an accessible service area.
3. Copy the complete model number
Record every letter, digit, hyphen, and suffix. For example, DCC-3200 and DCC-3200NAS may be related identities, but a suffix should not be discarded during review.
4. Do not substitute the serial number
A serial number often identifies one individual unit. The model number identifies the product family and is what compatibility catalogs normally use.
5. Search the normalized value
Kitchen Part Match accepts common formatting variants such as DCC-3200, DCC3200, and dcc 3200. If more than one plausible record exists, the finder should show choices instead of guessing.
